will be called to
the Torah as a
bar mitzvah at Temple
Israel in West Bloomfield
on Saturday, May 13, 2023.
He will be joined in cele-
bration by his sister Maya.
Casey is the loving grand-
child of Kenneth Korotkin,
and Donna and Jack
Belen.
He is a student at
Derby Middle School
in Birmingham. Casey’s
most meaningful mitzvah
project was raising more
than $3,000 and making
hundreds of personalized
bags full of toys for pedi-
atric patients at Beaumont
Hospital and Children’s
Hospital.

Hannah
Morgan Ben,
daughter of
Jaime and
Michael Ben,
will be called to
the Torah as a bat mitzvah
at Temple Israel in West
Bloomfield on Friday, May
12, 2023. She will be
joined in celebration by her
sister Caryn and brother
Matthew. Hannah is the
loving grandchild of
Barbara and Allan Ben,
Sherry Cantor and the late

George Cantor.
She is a student at West
Hills Middle School in
Bloomfield Hills. Hannah’s
most meaningful mitzvah
project was making and
donating blankets to a
local animal shelter.

Addison Lila
Kohen, daugh-
ter of Drs.
Laurie and
Robert Kohen,
will be called to
the Torah as a bat mitzvah
at Temple Israel in West
Bloomfield on Saturday,
May 13, 2023. She will be
joined in celebration by her
sister Drew. Addie is the
loving grandchild of Paula
and Howard Linden, and
Marilyn and Bill Kohen. She
is the adoring great-grand-
child of Ethel Shapiro, the
late Seymour Shapiro, the
late Bernice and the late
Bernard Linden, the late
Dorothy and the late Louis
Sherman, and the late
Rose and the late Fred
Kohen.
She is a student at
Detroit Country Day School
in Beverly Hills. Addie’s
most meaningful mitz-
vah project was making
keychains to raise more
than $4,200 in donations
for Friends for Animals of
Metro Detroit, an animal
shelter in Dearborn.

APRIL 18, 2023
Danielle (formerly Keith) and Ari Brown of
Boca Raton, Fla., are thrilled to welcome their
first child, a son, Aidan Emmett Brown. Aidan
is welcomed by his grandparents, Roz and
Richard Keith of Farmington, and Greta and
Bob Brown of Boca Raton. Proud great-
grandparents are Anaruth and Henri Bernard of West
Bloomfield, and Carol and Larry Brown of Bucks County,
Pa. Aidan is named after his great-great-grandfather
“zayda” Abe and special “yaya” Alice Norris.
