MAURY
STANTON, 92, of
Auburn Hills, died
Feb. 17, 2023.
Mr. Stanton was
a devoted husband
of 62 years to his wife, Audrey.
A loving father, grandfather
and a Korean War Navy veter-
an, Maury was a businessman,
entrepreneur and a talented
artist. He always had a story or
joke to tell and a twinkle in his

gorgeous blue eyes. Throughout
his life, he touched many peo-
ple’s lives both personally and
professionally and was a mentor
to many.
Maury was ahead of his time,
always coming up with new
products and business ventures
until the time he passed. It is
said some people don’t have
enough time on this earth; he
was one of them; at 92 he was
still a young man at heart. He
loved the song by Frank Sinatra
“My Way” and that is how
Maury lived his life. ABC Dad!
Mr. Stanton is survived by
his loving daughter, Tracy Katz
(Stanton); loving son, Randy
Stanton; cherished grand-
children, Logan Katz, Dane
Stanton, Madison Stanton.
He was the son of the
late Alex and the late Lillian

Sonnenstrahl, and husband of
the late Audrey Stanton.
A memorial service was
held at Great Lakes National
Cemetery. Contributions
may be directed to Karmanos
