Ms. Kaplan 
is survived by her sister, 
Jacquelyn Heller; brother, 
Harvey Heller; nieces and 
nephew, Risa Heller and Ryan 
Toohey, and Melissa Heller 
Seid and Shoshana Seid; 
great-nieces and great-neph-

ews, Vivian, Ezekiel, Penelope, 
Asher and Maya. 
She was the devoted daugh-
ter of the late Anne and the 
late Harold Heller, the cher-
ished sister-in-law of the late 
Ronna Heller, the proud aunt 
of the late Jason Marc Heller 
and the loving partner of the 
late Barry Kaplan. 
She is also survived by 
Barry’s children, Benjamin 
Kaplan, Bruce Kaplan and 
Janice Bittker, and their chil-
dren, including Joseph Kaplan, 
Samantha Kaplan and Jessica 
Kaplan Wright. 
Interment was at Beth El 
Memorial Park. Contributions

Robert Alter; great-grand-

Rodgers, Noah Rodgers; also 
survived by many nieces and 
nephews, other relatives and 
friends. 
Sara was the beloved wife 
of the late Milton Kovalsky; 

the last of eight siblings, she 
was the cherished sister of 
the late Esther and the late 
Gordon Kruger, the late Anne 
and the late Leonard Gooblar, 
the late Sydney and the late 
Sylvia Cohen, the late Joseph 
Cohen, the late Mary and the 
late Rubin Small, the late Gitty 
and the late Jerry Dater, the 
late Donna and the late Arnie 
Isenberg.
