HERMAN 
KASOFF, 98, of 
Farmington 
Hills, died on 
Feb. 15, 2023. He 
was a proud 
member of the First Special 
Service Force in WWII.
He is survived by his 
daughter, Judy Kasoff; 
sister and brother-in-law 
Sheila and Leo Ordin; sister, 
Florence Kasoff; companion, 
Joanie Schott; many nieces 
and nephews, great- and 
great-great-nieces and neph-
ews, cousins and friends. 
Mr. Kasoff was prede-
ceased by his beloved wife of 
68 years, Sylvia Kasoff; and 
brother, Morton Kasoff.
