ADELLE C.
SEARS, 94, of
West Bloomfield,
died on Dec. 29,
2022.
She was born
in 1928. She was married
to the love of her life, Leon
Sears, from 1946-2012. Adelle

was a homemaker who ran a
wonderful household and had
many close family members
and friends.
Adelle loved spending
summers at the Great Lakes
Yacht Club and enjoying
quality time with her
family and friends. She was
president of the B’nai Moshe
Sisterhood and an avid
knitter.
Mrs. Sears is survived
by her children, Natie and
Alan Reinstein, and Richard
Sears, who lovingly took
great care of both Adelle
and Leon in their later
years; grandchildren, Frank
and Jamie Reinstein, Mara
Reinstein, and Shelley
and Eliot Silver; great-
grandchildren, Ryan and Leah

Reinstein, and two-week-old
Isabel Silver; brother and
sister-in-law, Jerrold and
Madeleine Cowitz; many
cousins, nephews, nieces and
other family members.
She was pre-deceased
by her son, Merrill; and
grandson, Jon.
Contributions may be
made to Congregation B’nai
Moshe, 6800 Drake Road,
West Bloomfield, MI 48322;
or to a charity of one’s choice.
A funeral service was held at
Hebrew Memorial Chapel.
Interment took place at Adat
Shalom Memorial Park in
Livonia. Arrangements by
Hebrew Memorial Chapel.
