Taught by his father, John gravitated to math and accounting, earning a degree from Wayne State University, and then joining the federal government. For more than 40 years, John worked for various federal agencies such as the Government Accountability Office, Security Exchange Commission and the U.S. Trustee as an analyst and accountant. John greatly enjoyed following the news of the world as well as traveling to see the world and family members. He was the beloved husband of Dr. Gloria Kuhn; dear father of David and Su-Yen Kuhn, Michael and Amy Kuhn, Deena Kuhn; loving grandfather of Andrew and Emma Kuhn. Interment was held at Beth El Memorial Park Cemetery in Livonia.
