D.O., 69, of West
Bloomfield, died
Dec. 28, 2022.
Dr. Lipman is
survived by his
wife, Lynn Tarnoff Lipman;
daughters, Dr. Brooke

Ben Handelsman, and Alexa
Lipman; grandchildren, Maya
Weingarden, and Gavin and
Shane Handelsman; sisters
and brother-in-law, Shelley
Schochet, and Fayanne Kuttler
and Mitchell Zidel; sisters-in-
law and brother-in-law, Cindy
Posen, and Andee and David
Liberman; former son-in-law,
Mathew Weingarden; caregiv-
er, Vicki Littelton. He is also
survived by his faithful canine
companion, Ari.
Dr. Lipman was the devot-
ed son of the late Rabbi Max
Lipschitz and the late Miriam
Lipschitz, and the dear broth-

er-in-law of the late Stuart
Schochet and the late Steven
Posen. Interment was at Adat
Shalom Memorial Park.
