DONALD L. ALLEN, 85, of
Center Line, Mich., died Dec.
5, 2022.
Her is survived by his sister,
Darlene Maneli; many loving
nieces, nephews and friends.
Mr. Allen was the loving
brother of the late Phyllis
Lewis; the devoted son of the
late Rebecca “Betty” and the
late Herbert Allen.
Interment was at Machpelah

beloved wife of the late John
Birdsong; daughter of the late
Norman and the late Yetta
Kagan.

CHARLOTTE
CORLIN, 95, (10
days shy of her
96th birthday)
passed away
peacefully Dec. 6,
2022.
Throughout her career as an
interior designer and long into
retirement, Charlotte always
made time to volunteer for
causes close to her heart, such
as Head Start, Yad Ezra Food
Bank, Friendship Circle and
the gift shop at Danto.
Charlotte was known for
her style and class and was an
avid reader who always liked
the challenge of a complex
crossword puzzle.
Mrs. Corlin was the beloved
wife of Sherwin Corlin for 74
years; mother of Rodney and
Dolly Corlin, and Terri and
Howard Dembs; loving Nana
of Bradley and Renee Dembs,
and Laura Corlin; sister-in-law
of Gerald and Sharon Corlin;
daughter of the late Bert and
Lillian Schlain; daughter-
in-law of the late Rae and
Leonard Cohen; and sister of
the late Abbott Schlain.
Interment was at Beth El
Memorial Park. Contributions
