college-educated children and 
was part of the Jewish migra-
tion to Southfield, where the 
family lived on Plumbrooke 
Drive, later designated a his-
toric district. 
Always stylish, Charlotte 
was also a PTA member, Cub 
Scout den mother, hospital 
volunteer, Braille transcrib-
er, gourmet cook, mah jong 
player and avid reader. With 
Irv, she enjoyed classical sym-
phonies, foreign films, con-
temporary art, couples bridge, 
travel to the Caribbean, 
Europe and Florida. As 
seniors, she and Irv became 
Elderhostel aficionados. In 
1998, they celebrated their 
golden wedding anniversary 
with three other couples who 

were lifelong friends. Years 
after her husband’s death in 
2000, Charlotte became the 
partner of Martin Bader.
Mrs. Rosenbaum is sur-
vived by children, Barry 
(Linda), Stephen (Aileen) 
and Susan (Tom); brother-
in-law Manuel Rosenbaum; 
grandchildren, Neil (Lauren), 
Brian (Jessie), David, Marco 
(Emma), Alex (Melody), Ian 
and Natalie; great-grandchil-
dren, Brecken, Tatum and 
Lilah. 
Interment was held at 
Adat Shalom Memorial 
Park Cemetery in Livonia.

JULIUS 
ROSENSTEIN, 73, 
of Southfield, died 
Dec. 3, 2022. 
He was a 
third-degree black 
belt in Aikido, loved chess 
and was a member of the 
Chess Club at Wayne State. 
He was the co-author of sev-
eral gaming publications. Mr. 
Rosenstein was very active 
with Palladium Books as a 
game tester and as a creative 
influencer. 
Julius is survived by his 
brothers and sister-in-law, 
David Rosenstein, Marvin 
Delidow, Irving and Karen 
Rosenstein; nieces and neph-
ews, Samuel Rosenstein, 
Elizabeth Rosenstein, Jefferey 
Delidow, Audrey and Terry 
Gray, Steven Delidow, Debbie 

and Michael Colling; many 
dear friends. 
He was the beloved broth-
er-in-law of the late Ilene 
Delidow.
Contributions may be

choice. A funeral service was 
held at Hebrew Memorial 
Chapel. Interment took place 
at Hebrew Memorial Park.

SHELDON ROTH, 
85, of Farmington
