A

shley Zlatopolsky and
Joseph Kudlacik were
joined in marriage in
a beautiful wedding at Tam-O-
Shanter Country Club on Oct.
15, 2022. Rabbi Jennifer Lader
of Temple Israel officiated.
Ashley is the daughter of
Gregory and Alla Zlatopolsky
of West Bloomfield; Joseph is
the son of Joseph and Evelyn
Kudlacik of Southgate
Brianna Zlatopolsky,
Ashley’s younger sister, served as maid of honor. Louis
Hagan, childhood friend of Joseph, served as best
man.
This wonderful occasion gathered family and friends
from around the world as couple were blessed to
include grandmother Asya Nisnevich, while cherishing
the memory of late grandparents, Mark Nisnevich,
Klara and Leo Zlatopolsky.
Following the honeymoon in Italy and a
Mediterranean cruise, the couple will reside in West
Bloomfield.

each. Births are $10. There is no charge for bar/bat mitzvahs

Gnesin

of Jennie
and Adam
Gnesin, will be called to the
Torah as a bar mitzvah at
Congregation Beth Ahm on
Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022. Big
sister Ellery Rose will also
be called to the Torah to
read an aliyah to commemo-
rate her virtual bat mitzvah
from March 2020. Parker
and Ellery are the eldest
grandchildren of Shelley and
Marc Shindler, and youngest
grandchildren of Gail Gnesin
and Fred Gnesin.
Parker is a student at Hillel
Day School of Metropolitan
Detroit in Farmington Hills.
For his mitzvah project, he
is raising money to protect
endangered animals.

Shayna Rachel
Monkman
(Shona Ruchel) of
West Bloomfield,
will become a bat
mitzvah in 2022
at Temple Shir Shalom in
West Bloomfield on her real
birthday, Dec. 10.
Participating in the ceremo-
ny will be her parents,
Andrea and Daniel

Monkman, and sister
Addison Monkman (10).
Proud grandparents are
Rena and Marty Janower of
West Bloomfield, and Ilene
and John Monkman of
Huntington Woods.
Shayna is a student at
Walnut Creek Middle School
in West Bloomfield. Her most
meaningful mitzvah project
was coaching her sister’s
Girls on the Run team to
accomplish their 5K run at
Lake St. Clair Metropark.

Ryan Matthew
Rubin, son of
Barb and Cory
Rubin, will be
called to the
Torah as a bar
mitzvah at Temple Israel in
West Bloomfield on
Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022. He
will be joined in celebration
by his sisters Nicole and
Danielle, and his brothers
Preston and Ashton. Ryan is
the loving grandchild of Judi
Tann and Gary Stern, Bonnie
and Michael Rubin.
Ryan is a student at
West Hills Middle School in
Bloomfield Hills. His most
meaningful mitzvah project
was volunteering with autis-
tic children at Friendship
Circle in West Bloomfield.
