The Hebrew School of the
Arts is off to a great start!
Located at the Chabad Jewish
Center of Troy in downtown
Auburn Hills, the Hebrew
School of the Arts aims to
educate Jewish children about
Judaism through hands-on
learning and activities.
With an incredible group
of students, amazing parents
and fantastic teachers, the
Hebrew School of the Arts
had its first day of school
on Sept. 13. Students baked
honey cookies in honor of

Rosh Hashanah, learned
Jewish songs, broke open a
piñata in connection with the
new year and sent their new
year resolutions in balloons
to the sky.
Every week, the Hebrew
School of the Arts combines
STEAM, baking, drama and
music to teach students about
their amazing Jewish identity,
as well as a Hebrew reading
program that is karate-
inspired and teaches children
in a fun and engaging way
how to read Hebrew.
