C

ongregation B’nai Moshe’s Social Action Team held a
recycling event on Sunday, Oct. 23, where they collected
more than 900 pounds of electronics and scrap metal
that was taken to a recycling center rather than going into a
landfill.
Also, hundreds of books were collected, which were then either
donated or recycled.
Upcoming events for
CBM’s Social Action
Committee are making
blankets for hospitalized
patients, and baking and
delivering cookies to local
hospitals, police and fire-
fighters on Christmas Day
as a way of saying thank
you for all they do to keep
our community safe.
The team is chaired by
Anne Rottman and Mark Roth. Anyone who is interested in
joining may contact them by calling the synagogue office at (248)
788-0600 or by visiting B’nai Moshe’s website at www.bnaimoshe.
