n Oct. 30, 1982, 
Sheldon and Donna 
Klein were married 
at the Hotel Belmont in 
Chicago. They’re happy 
to announce their 40th 
anniversary. Sheldon and 
Donna had met at Kalamazoo 
College (class of ’78). The 
couple moved to Huntington 
Woods in 1988 and later 
to Birmingham. Daughter 
Rebecca lives in Berkley 
and is an attorney. Daughter Grace is self-employed 
as a birth doula, was married in June and resides in 
El Cerrito, Calif., with her husband, Robert Willard. 
Sheldon is an attorney with Butzel Long, and Donna 
owns an e-commerce company.

Leflein to Hannah Rae Bruder, 
daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Scott 
Bruder of Franklin Lakes, N.J. 
Jake earned his B.A. in 
screen arts and culture from 
U-M and a master of science 
in medical physiology from 
Case Western Reserve 
(CWRU). He is an M.B.A. student at the Weatherhead 
School of Management at CWRU. 
Hannah earned a B.A. in gender and health at U-M 
and a master of nursing degree from CWRU. She is 
a nurse practitioner student at the Frances Payne 
Bolton School of Nursing at CWRU. 
The October wedding was at the Cleveland 
Museum of Art.

grandchild of Bonnie and 
Jim Weitzman, and Midge 
and Jerry Appel. 
He is a student at 
Warner Middle School 
in Farmington Hills. 
Jeremy’s most meaningful 
mitzvah project was 
raising money for the 
Make-A-Wish Foundation 
of Michigan.

the Torah as a bar 
mitzvah at Temple Israel 
in West Bloomfield on 
Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022. 
He will be joined in 
celebration by his twin 
sister Ella. Eli is the loving 
grandchild of Ruth and 
the late Dr. Edward 
Lerchin, and Merle and 
Paul Graff. 

Eli is a student at 
Cranbrook Middle School 
in Bloomfield Hills. 
His most meaningful 
mitzvah project was 
donating his own money 
toward the research 
of Waldenstrom’s 
Macroglobulinemia, 
a chronic lymphoma, 
in honor of his late 
grandfather.
