almost 30 years at Ford Motor 
Company, until she retired to 
Delray Beach, Florida. 
Her family and friends 
appreciated her kind and lov-
ing heart, admired her sketch-
es, and enjoyed chatting with 
her about current events and 
professional tennis. She was a 
wonderful mom, offering not 
only love, but also perspective 
on handling life’s challenges. 
Clara loved being with people 
and especially celebrating joy 
with her family and friends. 
Mrs. Glassman leaves her 
daughter, Jackie; her sisters and 
brother, Ruth Wizner, Evelyn 
Peisner, Ted (Rhoda) Kahn and 
Marlene (Ron) Rosen; many 
loving nieces, nephews, grand-
nieces and grandnephews.
She was the sister of the late 
Annette Fingeroot; sister-in-
law of the late Bill Wizner, the 
late Larry Peisner and the late 
Ben Fingeroot.
Interment took place at 
Clover Hill Park Cemetery in 
Birmingham. Contributions 
may be made to the Holocaust 
Memorial Museum.
