PETER TURNER,
99, of West
Bloomfield, died
Sept. 21, 2022.
He was a grad-
uate of Wayne
State University School of
Engineering. He was a mechan-
ical engineer who worked on
the World Trade Center. Peter
was also a World War II Navy
veteran.
Mr. Turner is survived by his
wife of 74 years, Molly Turner;
sons, Craig Turner of West
Bloomfield, Kenny Turner of
Chandler, Ariz.; daughter, Janice
Scharg of West Bloomfield;
grandchildren, Ari and Sara
Scharg, Sally and Sandy Danto,
Daniel Turner, Nicole and Kevin

Scharg, Ethan Scharg, Shiloh

Henry Sellers; brother-in-law,
Leonard Weisberg; loving nieces

She is survived

Levinson of Chicago, Ill.; many
loving nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends. The fam-

EUGENE DRIKER, 85, of Detroit,
died after sunset on Sept. 29, 2022.
Eugene’s two great loves were his
family and his work. His contribu-
tions to cultural and philanthropic
institutions and his dedication to
the legal profession were matched
by his heartfelt devotion to his
wife, children, grandchildren,
extended family and close friends.
His generous spirit and wry humor
will be missed by all who knew
him.
He is survived by his devoted
and cherished wife of 63 years,
Elaine Driker; his beloved children,
Elissa (Jay Zerwekh) Driker and
Stephen (Jennifer) Driker, and
his son-in-law Perry Ohren; his
treasured grandchildren, Charlie,
Caleb, Rebecca, Sophie, and
Emma, who knew him as Zeyde.
Eugene is also survived by a loving
circle of extended family and a
world of friends.
Eugene was the son of the
late Charles and the late Frances
Driker. He was the brother of the
late Ruth Driker (Irv) Kroll and the
late Jack (Trudy) Driker.
