Loretta was the beloved 
wife of the late Leonard 
Goldzweig; mother of the 
late Wayne Goldzweig.

FERN S. KATZ, 
94, of Oak Park, 
Southfield and 
Ann Arbor, died 
Sept. 22, 2022. 
She was a teach-
er for many years in the Oak 
Park Schools and a former 
president of the Southfield 
School Board. 
 Mrs. Katz is survived by 
her sons and daughters-in-
law, Ralph and Deborah Katz 
of Ann Arbor, Louis Katz 
and Gail Busch of Corpus 
Christi, Texas; grandchil-
dren, Rachel Katz and Aaron 
Struminger, Naomi Katz and 
Alex Kaplan, Samuel and 
Alyssa Katz, Benjamin Katz; 
great-grandchildren, Leah 
Josephine Struminger; Aunty 
Faygy; many nieces, neph-
ews, grandnieces, grand-

 She was the beloved wife
