2022. She will be joined in 
celebration by her brothers 
Charlie and Evan. Sarah is 
the loving grandchild of 
Cynthia and John McGuire, 
Debra Follbaum and 
Thomas Fanslow Sr., and 
Susan and Dr. Charles 
Bares. 
She is a student at 
Hillside Middle School in 
Northville. Sarah’s most 
meaningful mitzvah project 
was collecting tzedakah for 
Love Runs, an organization 
combatting human 
trafficking in Metro Detroit.

Dylan Noah 
Levin (Shiloh 
Noah) will 
become a bar 
mitzvah on 
Saturday, Sept. 
24, 2022, at Temple Beth 
El in Bloomfield Township. 
Proud parents are Emily 
and Darrin. His siblings are 
Lindsay and Spencer Levin. 
Excited grandparents are 
Adrienne and Paul 
Shwedel, and Carole Levin. 
He is also the grandson of 
the late Larry Levin.
Dylan is an eighth-
grader at Detroit Country 
Day Middle School in 
Beverly Hills. For his 
mitzvah project, Dylan has 
collected blankets and 
towels for animal shelters, 
sporting equipment for 
underserved kids in 
Detroit, as well as toys and 
clothing to send to Ukraine. 

Chase 
Nathaniel 
Mingus, son of 
Stacy and Brian 
Mingus, will 
become a bar 
mitzvah on Saturday, Sept. 
24, 2022, at Temple Shir 
Shalom in West 
Bloomfield. He will be 
joined in celebration by his 
sister Bailey, brothers 
Parker and Holden, 
grandparents Sheila and 
Merv Aronoff, Regina and 
Jon Young, and great-
grandparents Ruth and 
Richard Barber. Chase is 
also the grandson of the 
late Gary Mingus. 
Chase is a student at 
Berkshire Middle School 
in Beverly Hills. For 
his mitzvah project, he 
volunteers as a Machonik 
at Temple Shir Shalom, 
working in the temple 
office and as a Sunday 
school photographer.
