Willard-Klein
S

heldon and Donna Klein of Birmingham are
pleased to announce
that their daughter Grace
Elizabeth Klein married Robert
Gordon Willard on June 4,
2022.
Robert is the son of Mark
Willard of Allen, Texas, and
Robin Willard of Sun City
Center, Fla. Attendants were
friends and family, including
the bride’s sister, Rebecca
Klein of Berkley, Mich. The
couple’s dear friend Chaplain
Will Geller-Kunert performed
the ceremony.
The wedding and reception took place at Maverick’s
House in Half Moon Bay, Calif. The ceremony took place
overlooking the ocean. White gauzy ribbons fluttered
off the chuppah; sea lions lounging on rocks barked
raucously; pelicans circled overhead; and the flower
girl ran wild with fistfuls of rose petals. What a way to
celebrate love and joy.
The couple live in El Cerrito, Calif. Grace is a graduate
of Seaholm High, Temple Emanu-El religious school and
Oberlin College. She is a self-employed birth doula.
Robert graduated from Kansas State University and
works as a software engineer at Flyr Labs. They are
delaying their honeymoon.
