died Sept. 7, 2022.
She is survived
by her beloved
husband, Harvey Adelman;
sons and daughter-in-law,

Adelman and Gregg Adelman;
grandchildren, Eric (Karen)
Adelman, Scott (Rebecca)
Adelman, Megan (Jeremy)
Lawless and Kevin Adelman;
great-grandchildren, Jocelyn,
Natalie, Mia, Graham, Olivia,
Ava, Madeline, Walter, Cain
and Leah; many other loving
family members and friends.
Mrs. Adelman was the sister of
the late Sylvia Schneider.
Interment was held B’nai
Israel Memorial Gardens in
Novi. Contributions may be
made to the Salvation Army,
the Dorothy & Peter Brown
Adult Day Care Program or
to a charity of one’s choice.

GLORIA ARFA,
97, of Lake
Worth, Fla., died
Aug. 24, 2022.
She was a
devoted teacher,
sisterhood member and a
Hadassah board member. She
was proud to be the recipient
of Hadassah’s Woman of Valor
Award.
Gloria was the beloved
wife of the late Jerome. She
was the cherished mother of
Marlene (Michael) Swarin and
Kenneth (Cheryl) Arfa; grand-
mother of Matthew Swarin,
Dayna (Jason) Guerreso, Traci
(Kevin) Kellman, Carrie Arfa,
and Robin (Phillip) Kleisler;
proud “Gigi” of Zoe and Mya
Kellman, Nohlan and Nathan
Guerreso, Westin and Sylvie
Kleisler. She is also lovingly
remembered by Jane Horton
and caretaker Lorvana Merius.

Holocaust Center.
She was the beloved wife
of the late Albert Ashe; step-
mother of Sheila (the late Dr.
David Israel Lipschutz); aunt
of Carol Kroll, the late Joseph
(the late Rita) Kulesza, and
Robert (Marilyn) Kulesza;
great-aunt of Mark Kulesza,
Michelle (Jeff) Laade. She is
lovingly remembered by her
grandchildren, other family
and friends.
