dren, Aiden and Charlotte 
Cohen; sister-in-law, Janet 
Finkel; many loving niec-
es, nephews, other family 
members and friends. 
Mr. Barris was the 
beloved husband of the 
late Freida Barris; broth-
er of the late Seldon (the 
late Birdie) Barris, the late 
Manuel Barris, the late 
Nathan (the late Davida) 
Barris, the late Tille (the 
late Max) Kushner; broth-
er-in-law of the late Alice 
Barris Kushner and the late 
Edward Finkel.
Interment took place at 
Machpelah Cemetery in 
Ferndale. Contributions 
may be made to Jewish 
Hospice or the National 
Parkinson Foundation.
