OF BLESSED MEMORY

DOROTHY
TESSLER, 102, of
Bloomfield Hills,
died Aug. 18,
2022.
She lived a long
and full life grounded in love
and optimism. Throughout
her 102 years, she connected
meaningfully with nearly
everyone she encountered,
from family members to
casual acquaintances. She
listened intently and had a
magical ability to look into
someone’s eyes and make
them feel seen and special.
Her compliments were
endless and yet always sincere
because she saw the best
in everyone and couldn’t
restrain herself from sharing
her warm thoughts. To know

Dorothy was to feel loved and
valued, and she was rewarded
in return with the admiration
and adoration of everyone
around her. She will be dearly
missed and remembered with
the warmth and love that she
so freely gave.
Mrs. Tessler was the
beloved wife of the late Frank
Tessler; the cherished mother
of Dr. Martin and Sandra
Tessler, and the late Ronald
Tessler; proud grandmother
of Dr. Stacy Tessler Lindau
and Peter Lindau, and Natalie
Tessler and Richard Ginsberg;
adoring great-grandmother
of Benjamin, Jonah and
Theo Lindau, and William
Ginsberg; loving sister of the
late Max Fisher, the late Gail
Rose-Rossen and the late

Anne Rose; dear sister-in-
law of the late Sylvia Fisher,
the late Marjorie Fisher, the
late David Ross, the late Bill
Rossen, the late Lew Rose,
the late Eva and the late Ruby
Kapper, and the late Albert
and the late Frances Tessler;
special aunt of Jane and Larry
Sherman, Mary Fisher, Phillip
and Lauren Fisher, Julie and
Peter Cummings, Marjorie
and Roy Furman, Stephen
Ross, the late Sharon and
Robert Medsker, Carol Sue
and Stephen Coden, and Gail
Rose. She is also survived by
