ter Esther Ingber stand at the only
headstone they found in an aban-
doned Jewish cemetery in Baranow,
Poland. They stayed for several
days in Mielec as the honored
guests of Zygie’s rescuers’ son,
Janek Dudzik, and his wife, Janina.
