“BOBBI” 
MARCUS, 82, of 
Scottsdale, Ariz., 
formerly of West 
Bloomfield, 
passed away suddenly and 
peacefully July 9, 2022.
Bobbi was everybody’s 
friend, kind, gracious and 
charming, and everyone 
loved her. Among her many 
accomplishments, Bobbi 
was an ACBL Sapphire Life 
Master and a Hole-in-One 
golfer. She was an avid read-
er and received a degree in 

education from Wayne State 
University after attending 
Detroit Mumford High 
School, Class of ’57.
She is survived by her 
beloved husband, Daniel 
Marcus; her brother, Kenneth 
Bertin and sister-in-law, 
Linda; brother-in-law, Mike 
Marcus; children, Denise 
McGranahan, Amy Letzer, 
Jill Langley, Dr. Kim Josen 
(Ben Thornley), William 
Marcus (Pam Spiro), Marsea 
Marcus-Rotman (Evan); 
grandchildren Benjamin, 
Jeremy, Joshua, Zachery, 
Alyssa, Rachel, Samantha, 
Maddie, Rose, Imogen and 
Edward; niece, Gennifer 
Thav (Jeff); grandnephews, 
Ian, Ryan and Lucas. She 
remained good friends with 
her children’s father, Jerry 
Letzer. 
Bobbi loved animals, and 
is missed by Enzo and Sugar, 

the last two in a very long 
line of cats. 
She was the daughter of 
the late Sidney and the late 
Maxine Bertin.
Private funeral plans are 
pending in Scottsdale and a 
memorial will be held later 
this year in both Scottsdale 
and West Bloomfield. At 
that time, her last wish will 
be granted and a tree will be 
planted in her honor. 
Contributions may be

Diabetes Association, the 
Michigan Humane Society or 
a charity of your choice.

CAROLINE 
SHERBIN, 28, of 
Bloomfield Hills, 
died July 10, 2022. 
She is survived 
by her parents, 
Aaron and Elizabeth Sherbin; 
sisters and brother-in-law, 

Katherine and Zach Simon, 
Meredith Sherbin and Grace 
Sherbin; nephew, Grant Simon. 
She is also survived by Jennifer 
Campbell. 
Ms. Sherbin was the cher-
ished granddaughter of Donald 
and Joanne Purther, Barbara 
Keywell, Lenore Cowan, the late 
Benjamin Sherbin, and Candice 
Zwick. 
Interment was at Clover Hill
