Clinton River Watershed
Council is hosting a fami-
ly-friendly fundraiser walk
for individuals or groups.
Participants enjoy early
access to the zoo’s exhibits
and animal habitats, and all
money raised will support
Clinton River Watershed
Council programs. Adult
tickets are $20, and children
ages 2-18 are $10. Tickets
include zoo admission (park-
ing included), a light break-
fast, games, prizes, goodie

RIDE FOR THE LIVING

This round-trip ride from
Ferndale to the Detroit
Riverfront is for riders of
all ages and skill levels.
Everyone from Slow Rollers
(avg 11-12 mph), Cruisers (avg
13-15 mph) and Chasers (avg
16-18 mph). ebike rental is
available, too. The Krakow
JCC’s Annual Ride for the
Living is a 34.5-mile bike ride
from Auschwitz to the JCC
Krakow that commemorates
Jewish history and cele-
brates the miraculous rebirth
of Jewish life in Poland today.
The Federation’s satellite
ride (approximately 30 miles)
is our own way to commem-
orate and celebrate the liv-
ing. Plus, proceeds from our
ride will benefit the Krakow
JCC. We’ll meet up and start
at Ferndale High School,
281 Pinecrest, Ferndale, and
finish (at our own pace) at
Ferndale Project for food
and drinks. With the first
