Cityfest:

A Celebration of
Spirited Dining

September 7-18, 2022

Tickets are available now for Detroit’s

one-of-a-kind celebration: Cityfest 2022.

The Whitney’s Cityfest 2021 boasted over

5200 visitors and donated more than

$17,000 towards local community charities.

Deemed as “A celebration of spirited

dinning” Cityfest spans over 10 days with

a whopping 13 events to attend this year,

there’s something for every taste & interest.

While crowd favorites like Roses & Rosé &

Explore Absinthe may be sold out, there

are still plenty of events to participate in.

In 2019, The Whitney’s Cityfest honored

and Detroit journalist & restaurant

columnist Danny Raskin in which 20% of

the proceeds was donated to a charity of

Raskin’s choice. A favorite for many, The

Cass Community “Back East Feast” event

has returned. Making this the 5th Annual

Lobster bake which includes a champagne

& seafood bar followed by an authentic

“Back East Feast”. Participants will be

involved in giving back to the community as

$20 from each ticket sale will be donated

to Cass Community Social Serves center.

These opportunities are part of what

makes Cityfest so special.
