Mr. Schon was the loving
son of the late Jack and the
late Florence Schon; brother
of the late Joyce Schon and the
late Alan Schon.

RENA CANTOR
STEIRN, 93, of
Huntington,
W. Va., and West
Bloomfield, passed
away peacefully on
June 25, 2022, after a long
struggle with Alzheimer’s.
She was an active volun-
teer as a homeroom mother
for many years and active in
Hadassah, sisterhood and
American Red Cross.
Mrs. Steirn is survived by

her sister, Shirley Sweet; sister-
in-law, Gail Cantor; daughters,
Brenda (Mark) Altus, Roselyn
(Alan) Else, Vicki (Kalman)
Socolof, Janice Steirn and
Stephanie Steirn; grandchil-
dren, Staci Andrade (fiancée
KC Limbaugh), Kari (Kevin)
Miller, Julie Altus, Jared (Sean)
Barker, Nicholas Barker,
Wesley Barker, Jerome (Kate)
Socolof and Rebeccah Socolof;
many great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by
her parents, Mary and Jerry
Cantor; beloved husband,
Coleman Steirn; brother,
Robert Cantor.
Interment was held
at Spring Hill Cemetery
in Huntington, W. Va.
