She was a woman of 
extraordinary good character 
(Middot Tovot), respected in 
the community for her loving 
kindness, warmth, positivity, 
patience and wisdom. She was 
devoted to family, friends, 
Torah, mitzvot, peacemak-
ing and lifelong learning. 
She walked through life as 
an angel who brought joy, 
encouragement, comfort, 
wisdom and faith to family, 
friends and strangers alike.
Donald and Shirley’s home 
was always an open door to 
people of all ages. Her fabu-
lous, delicious Shabbat and
