SEPTET TO PLAY

The Paxton/Spangler
group takes the stage in
the Sosnick Courtyard at
the DSO to perform songs
from their new album
Ugqozi, which translates
from isiZulu as “inspiration.”
This inspiration combines
the influences of South
African jazz and the unique
synergy between the
musicians’ instrumental
blending and aesthetic
understanding. General
admission, $20 (folding
chairs available first-come,
first-served or bring your

it. Then we come together
on Zoom from the comfort
of our homes to chat about
our recent read, share wins,
discuss challenges and
just enjoy the company of
other young adults who
are in the same parenting
