BBAC Announces Winners

The Birmingham Bloomfield
Art Center (BBAC), a region-
al nonprofit art center cele-
brating its 65th anniversary
milestone of promoting visual
arts experiences for all, has
announced the winners of
its 2022 Michigan Fine Arts
Competition (MFAC).
The exhibition, sponsored
by Bank of Ann Arbor/
Birmingham, is free and open
to the public through Aug.
18. The entire exhibit also
is available online for virtual
viewing at BBArtCenter.org.
The show, which fills all
of BBAC’s four exhibition
gallery spaces, features pieces
from this year’s nine winners,
as well as works from dozens
of other artists.

“It’s so inspiring to see,
that even after more than
four decades, the MFAC con-
tinually has something new
and inventive and interesting
to offer and experience,”
said Annie VanGelderen,
BBAC President & CEO.
“If you love contemporary
art, the Michigan Fine Arts
Competition exhibition never
disappoints in its variety and
quality.”
BBAC exhibitions, which
are always free and open to
the public, are on display
Monday through Saturday
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The BBAC is
located at 1516 S. Cranbrook
Road in Birmingham. More
information is available at
BBArtCenter.org.
