“Overeating and Addictions: Relationships and 
Observations Over My Career from Woodstock to 
Present”

 
Objectives

1. The learner will review the phenomenological evidence 
suggesting that overeating may be considered amongst 
behavioral addictions

2. The learner will review the basic science 
support for the overeating hypothesis

3. The learner will look and list treatments for addictions which are 

also treatments for overeating
