Each year, Teen Board members select critical issues affecting the community to address through their grantmaking. This year, the focus areas included
diminishing the stigma surrounding mental health, and addressing the impact of Covid-19 on the health and wellbeing of the metro Detroit community.

The Jewish Fund Teen Board is proud to announce that a total of $100,000 in grants has been awarded to the following organizations:

Brilliant Detroit • CARE House of Oakland County • Forgotten Harvest • Jewish Family Services • Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit and Repair the World
Kadima • Knights and Dames of the Order of Malta.

The Teen Board is a project of The Jewish Fund. The Jewish Fund was established in 1997 from the sale proceeds of Sinai Hospital to the
Detroit Medical Center. Sinai Hospital was a Jewish community funded facility that grew into one of metropolitan Detroit’s top health care
institutions. As a legacy of Sinai Hospital, The Jewish Fund continues the tradition of assuring quality and compassionate care for those in
need in Metropolitan Detroit.
