SEYMOUR
DEITCH, 95, of
Southfield, died
April 27, 2021.
He is survived
by his loving
and devoted wife of 73 years,
Dorothy Deitch; son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Dr. Howard and
Neida Deitch of Portland, Ore.;
brothers and sister-in-law, Lewis
and Rida Deitch, Harry Deitch,
Morris Deitch; sister, Delores
Davis; grandchildren, Daniel,
Sabra and Lenny, Jonathan and
Liana, Jessica and Ken, Kirsten
and Doug, Paul; many treasured
great-grandchildren; many lov-
ing nieces, nephews, other rela-
tives, friends; devoted caregivers,
Sonia and Ron Sumling, Kay
Garland, Jeanine.
Mr. Deitch was the loving
father of the late Steven Deitch;
dear brother and brother-in-law
of the late Esther and the late
Norman Fershtman.

BURTON A.
DISNER, 75, of San
Diego, Calif., died
April 25, 2021.
He is survived
by his brother and
sister-in-law, Harve and Judy
Disner; sister-in-law, Sandra
Disner; three stepchildren, five
nieces and nephews and many
cousins, other family members
and friends.
Mr. Disner was the beloved
husband of the late Shari
Berger; the brother of the late
Eliot Disner and the late Steven
Disner; brother-in-law of the
late Susie Disner.
Interment took place at
Clover Hill Park Cemetery in
Birmingham. Contributions may
be made to the Jewish Hospice
and Chaplaincy Network

DR. JERROLD
“JERRY” HERMAN,
77, of Ann Arbor,
passed away on
April 29, 2021.
Jerry was a devot-
ed husband, loving
father and proud grandfather.
He was a lifelong naturalist with
an encyclopedic memory and
a love of all science and knowl-
edge. His love of nature was
expressed through his art.
Dr. Herman is survived by his
beloved wife, Elise Herman (nee
Krasnov); daughters, Jennifer
(Neil) Stiber and Jill (Ami)
Goldfein; grandchildren, Aryeh,
Esther, Tamar, Yonah and Eliana
Stiber, and Ilan, Nava and Asher
Goldfein.
He was predeceased by his
cherished parents, Stella and
Victor Herman.
A private graveside funeral was
planned for New York. Please
