He has been playing his violin for seniors at Jewish Senior Life in addi- tion to various senior homes, which has made a meaning- ful impact on him and the seniors as well. Victor, a professor of management and inter- national business at Eastern Michigan University, has won the Association for Business Communication’ s Award of Merit. The Award of Merit acknowledges outstanding achievement in the discipline of business communication through a singular accomplish- ment or a series of accomplish- ments. “Dr. Victor distinguished himself for this recognition through his excellence in teaching, pedagogy and meth- odology; research and publi- cations; and professionalism,” said said ABC Immediate Past President Marcel Robles. Victor’ s published work has focused on cross-cultur- al business communication, international business ethics and international differences in organizational structure. Students routinely speak of his passion for international busi- ness and his deep knowledge of the field.
