CARNICK, 100, 
died on Sept. 28, 
2020.
She was born in 
Chelsea, Mass., to 
Harry and Fanny 
Simon in 1919. She was an 
avid Tigers fan, a hole-in-one 
golfer and lover of art and 
music.
Walking into her meticu-
lous home reminded family of 
the wonderful life she shared 
with her late husband, Boyd, 
for 67 years, and the deep 
appreciation for art, music 
and travel they instilled in the 
children.
Mrs. Carnick is survived 
by her daughters and sons-
in-law, Harriet and Larry 
Kepes, Joan and Dr. Avrum 
Stein, Linda and Dr. Leonard 
Sahn, and Barbara and David
