to announce the birth of their son, Moishe Chaim.

also, the grandson of the late Cindy Shifman.

called to the Torah 
as a bat mitzvah 
on Saturday, 
March 14, 2020, 
at Temple Beth El in 
Bloomfield Township. Joining in 
her celebration will be her 
parents, Josh Cohen, and Carrie 
and Steven Stillwater; brother, 
Isaac Cohen; grandparents, 
Steve Brown, Connie and Barry 
Silverman, Michael Cohen, 
Beverly and Marc Jonas, Randi 
Brown and Larry Stillwater. Also 
celebrating this joyous occasion

parents, Elaine Kohner and 
Bernie Jonas. Sophie is the 
loving grandchild of the late 
Janice Cohen.
Sophie is a student at Warner 
Middle School in Farmington 
Hills. As part of her mitzvah 
project, she enjoyed volunteer-
ing at Fleishman Residence in 
West Bloomfield as well as at 
various soup kitchens and with 
Meals on Wheels.

Bloomfield on Friday, March 13,

rewarding mitzvah project, she 
raised funds for Alzheimer’

organized the donation of 
memory games, which she 
delivered to the Brown Center, 
and interacted with those who 
spend the day at the

memory care center.
