FRANKEL CENTER EVENT

the Holocaust.” At the West Bloomfield
JCC, 6600 W. Maple Road. With Justin
Cammy, Frankel Institute fellow. Yiddish
poet Avrom Sutzkever, witness to the
destruction of the Vilna Ghetto, wrote a
memoir of the ghetto experience that
was subsequently published in Moscow
and Paris in 1945.

Erbelding, historian, archivist and
curator at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial
Museum, will discuss her award-win-
ning book, Rescue Board: The Untold
Story of America’
s Efforts to Save the
Jews of Europe. Room 1216 of the
Mardigian Library on the campus of
the University of Michigan-Dearborn.

available for purchase at the event
