Harrison Hunger
will celebrate
becoming a bar
mitzvah on
Saturday, Feb. 29,
2020, at
Congregation Shaarey Zedek in
Southfield. He is the son of
Elanah and Richard Hunger,
brother of Dash, and the
grandson of proud grandparents
Joy and Allan Nachman, and Gail
and Jack Hunger.
Harrison is a seventh-grade
student at Hillel Day School
of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. He loves his
two dogs (Betsy and Lucy) and
has chosen to raise funds for the
Michigan Humane So

mitzvah project.

Violet Louise

and Gabe Karp, will
lead the
congregation in

Temple Israel in West
Bloomfield. She will be joined in
celebration by her sisters Jillian
and Amelia. Violet is the loving
grandchild of Karen and Dr. Leon

Rubenfaer, Marlene Karp and the

daughter of
Heather Moss and
Jeff Moss, will
chant from the
Torah on the
occasion of her bat mitzvah at

on Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020. She
will be joined in celebration by
her brother Noah and proud

even more meaningful as her
