Elizabeth and Joshua Zeman of Bloomfield Hills are
proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Hannah
Joy Zeman. She is the granddaughter of Ann and
Jonathan Podolsky of Bloomfield Hills and Marci and
Paul Zeman of West Bloomfield. Hannah is named for
her paternal grandfather Harold Wolfe and maternal grandfather
Harold Podolsky and her maternal grandmother, Judith Weitz.
Hannah’
s Hebrew name, Yehudit Ahava, is for her maternal grand-
mother, the late Judith Weitz as well as her paternal grandmother, the
late Avis Wolfe.

APRIL 22, 2019
Hayley and James Schafer of Birmingham joyfully
announce the birth of their daughter, Arielle Brynn.
Thrilled grandparents are Elisa and Donald Dreyfuss
of Bloomfield Hills and Linda Schafer of Birmingham.
She is also the granddaughter of the late Arnold
Schafer. Arielle is named in loving memory of her grandfather
Arnold and her great-grandmother Beatrice Katz.

Goldfarb 90th
C

harles B. Goldfarb of Detroit
observed his 90th birthday on
Nov. 29, 2019, at a dinner at
the Detroit Athletic Club, hosted by
his wife, the Hon. Sharon Tevis Finch.
They were joined by their daughters,
Carin Goldfarb (Steve Schreier), Amy
(Jared) Zerman and Julie Hantman
(fiancé, Jeff Rose). Chuck also cele-
brated with his grandchildren, Abbie,
Harry, Tyler, Mitchell and Adam, as
well as extended family and friends.
He continues to operate his business,
Goldfarb Bonding Agency, as he has for 70 years in Downtown
Detroit. Chuck is also a proud Korean War veteran.

hyllis (Lankin) and Ron Ostroff
were married Dec. 21,1969,
at Congregation B’
nai David.
They will celebrate their golden anni-
versary with children, Jennifer (Sima)
and Zack Ostroff, Siv Crow and fian-
cé, Doug Thornton, Amy (Macwan)
and Adam Ostroff, and grandchildren,
Noa, Maia, Eli, Ari, Etai and Ella
Ostroff and Ethan Crow. Also joining
in the festivities will be mahatunim
(in-laws) Judy and Jerry Sima.
