ebbie Kopinsky and Dr. Joel
Kopinsky of Farmington Hills
are thrilled to announce
the upcoming marriage of their
son Michael Jared to Risa Arielle,
daughter of Karyn Hurwich of
Munster, Ind., and the late Dr. Dan
Hurwich.
Risa is the granddaughter of
Shelly Kogen (the late Debbie
Kogen), and the late Saul and Janet
Hurwich. Michael is the grandson
of Aida Greenspan (the late Noah
Greenspan), and the late Maisie and Samuel Kopinsky.
Risa received a bachelor’
s degree and D.D.S. from Indiana
University. She also completed an M.P.H. and pediatric dentistry
residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is a practicing
pediatric dentist.
Michael received a B.B.A. in finance and B.A. in economics at
the University of Michigan. He is a leveraged finance associate at
Capital One.
The couple reside in Chicago. A March wedding is planned.

Konecky of Norwalk, Conn.,
along with Jane and Mitch
Kline of Clarkston, are overjoyed
to announce the engagement
of their children Olivia Nicole
Taylor and Brett Alexander
Kline.
Olivia graduated from the
University of Michigan in 2015 with a
B.A. in psychology. She is employed
as a software engineer at WeWork in
New York City, N.Y.
Brett graduated from Michigan State University in 2014 with
a B.F.A in theater. He is employed as a comedy writer for United
Stations in New York City. He is also a professional comedian, per-
forming in New York and around the country.
The wedding is planned for June 2020 in Stamford, Conn.
