Brody Jay Tushman, son of Alyssa and Marc Tushman, will chant from the Torah as he celebrates his bar mitzvah on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019, at The Meridian in Farmington Hills. He will be joined in celebration by his brothers Max and Cooper and proud grandpar- ents Joanne and Earl Tushman, Paul Fisher and Sherry Sparks. Brody is a student at Berkshire Middle School in Birmingham. As part of his mitzvah project, he organized a downtown fundraiser in Cadillac Square, raising more than $2,000 for the Michigan Humane Society.
