He loved the outdoors and he loved dogs. He was a complicated man who lived simply. Mr. Lazar was the son of Elaine (Davis) and Reuben Lazar, known as Sam. He is survived by a brother, Eric; sister-in-law, Lorraine; nieces, Paige, Kimberly and Olivia; his former wife, Robin Allen; aunt, Sema Lazar; cousins, Howard, Jeffrey and Marlana Weiner; cousins, Jillian and Candice. He has several cousins from his two uncles Alton and Howard Lazar, who predeceased him. In his later years, he was cared for by Calmeta Strachan, who nursed him and was a compassionate companion.
