FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT HOME
Tour the first Frank Lloyd Wright-designed house to be built in the Detroit metro-
politan area, the Gregor S. & Elizabeth B. Affleck House, 925 Bloomfield Woods,
Bloomfield Hills. Frank Lloyd Wright teamed up with Jewish builder Harold
Turner, who built the iconic home in 1941, along with two other Frank Lloyd
Wright homes in Michigan. Turner eventually settled in Oakland County where he
would go on to design and build his own unique houses. The tours on Saturday,
July 21, are at 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m. and are hosted by the College of
Architecture and Design at Lawrence Technological University. Tickets are $15-
$25 at Eventbrite.com and must be purchased in advance.

will be divided into nine groups of 25
riders, leaving at 15-minute intervals,
beginning at 8 am. Final departure time
