Jennifer and Cary Rosen of Phoenix, Ariz., are excited to
announce the birth of their son, Callum Jeffrey Rosen. Proud
grandparents are Nettie and Stuart Rosen of West Bloomfield,
and Dyane and Glenn Thomas of Phoenix. Callum is named in
loving memory of Cary’
s cousin Calvin Lefton and Jenn’

Plymouth, and Kathleen and Kevin
Mixer of Milford are thrilled to announce
the marriage of their children Katherine
Elizabeth Potash and Ryan Sean Connor
that took place recently at Temple Beth El.
Rabbi Emeritus Daniel B. Syme officiated.
Katherine and Ryan are graduates of
Michigan State University. Katherine is
a third-generation home builder. Ryan is
involved in his family-owned business, a
logistics company and multi-temperature
warehouse servicing retailers, wholesalers
and manufacturers throughout the state.
The happy couple are looking forward to
a honeymoon in Greece.

lice and Mark Zacks of West
Bloomfield were married at Temple
Emanu-El in Oak Park in 1969. On
July 10, they celebrated their 50th wedding
anniversary. They met as undergraduates
at the University of Michigan. The Zacks
are the proud parents of Eric (Renee),
Evan (Dana) and Dustin and are the loving
grandma and grandpa of Asher, Micah,
Leah, Benny and Jesse. A celebration with
their family as well as a cruise to Australia
and New Zealand are planned.
