Yo-Yo Ma: Culture, Understanding,
and Survival

Wednesday, February 27 /
/ 7 pm
Hill Auditorium

When our world is challenged by change and division, culture is essential in
shaping the next stage of our evolution. Cello phenom Yo-Yo Ma examines
how culture can help us to imagine and build a better future in a special talk
with musical illustration about his inspiring role as a citizen artist.

This event will be followed by a Day of Action in Flint on Thursday, February
28, where Ma will work with community partners to champion culture’s
power to transform lives and forge both a more connected world and a
healthy and vibrant local community. Learn more at ums.org/dayofaction.
