They moved to Michigan’ s Upper Peninsula after retiring in 1981, where they lived until Rhoda’ s death in 1989. In 1990, Mr. Malinoff moved to Ann Arbor. In 1999, he married Ann Arbor native Carole McLean, who died on Jan. 7, 2019. He is survived by his son, Herb (Lynn); their sons, Gabriel and Aaron; daughter, Julie (Keith); their daughter, Rachel; daughter, Lauren; Carole’ s children, Laurie (Kerry), Mitchell (Amanda), Matthew; Carole’ s six grandchildren. Interment was at Beth El Memorial Park.
