of the exhibit, which includes video
footage shot by British, Soviet
and American soldiers as they
discovered Nazi camps. The images
were presented as evidence when the
Allied Forces of World War II formed an
international tribunal to prosecute Nazi

Premiere of Hamilton
in Detroit

Congregation Shir Tikvah in Troy,
Upland Hills School and Congregation
Beth Shalom of Traverse City are
sponsoring the premiere of Hamilton in
Detroit at the Fisher Theatre on March
12, 2019.
The evening will be major fundraiser
for the three organizations, as well as a
celebration of Shir Tikvah’s double chai
(36th) anniversary year. The proceeds
will be used toward arts and culture
education, community outreach, social
action initiatives, membership support
and facility enhancements.

Shoes to Share

Shoes to Share is a program orga-
nized by the National Council of
Jewish Women | Michigan where
new or gently used shoes are col-
lected at donation points through-
out Metro Detroit in October, then
sorted by volunteers in November.
NCJW|MI works with 22 local agen-
cies that help kids, homeless families
and veterans. Last year 3,000 pairs
of shoes were collected; NCJW|MI
believes donations are up this year.
