BARBARA “BOBBIE”
LEVINE, 81, of West
Bloomfield, died Nov. 16,
2018.
She was retired from
B’nai B’rith Great Lakes
Region as program direc-
tor volunteer for 29 years and employed
there for 31 years.
Mrs. Levine is survived by her daugh-
ter, Audrey Levine; son and daughter-
in-law, Mitch and Jami Levine; grand-
children, Tali and Marshall Knauer,
Ariele Hershkovitz and her fiance, Chris
Arrowood, and Brenden Lints; nieces
and nephews, David and Adrea Benkoff,
Marsha and John Rofel, and Sheri and
Michael Benchetrit; brothers-in-law and
sisters-in-law, Allen and Bonnie Levine,
Lynn Levine, and Kaylee and Jeffrey
Freedman.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Martin Levine; the loving sister-in-law of
the late Kenneth Levine.
Interment was at B’nai Israel Memorial
Gardens. Contributions may be made
to B’nai B’rith, 5600 W. Maple Road,
Suite. A-100, West Bloomfield, MI

ETHEL JEAN LIGHT, of

Nov. 24, 2018.
She is survived by her

her beloved grandchildren, Brandon
Light, Dylan Light, Sean Light, Elle

Marcia Stein.
Mrs. Light was the beloved wife of
the late Louis Light; loving sister of the
late Harold Weinstein and the late Anita
Gott.

MANILOFF, 90, of West
Bloomfield, died Nov. 19,
2018.
She is survived by her
daughter and partner,
Shari Korenstein and
Tom Picard; son and daughter-in-law,
Howard and Susan Maniloff; grand-
children, Zack (Keisha) Korenstein,
Jake (Maryann) Korenstein, Mollie
Korenstein, Eric (Vanessa ) Maniloff and
Jamie Maniloff; sister and brother-in-law,
Evelyn and Edward Mayer; many other
loving family members and friends.
Mrs. Maniloff was the beloved wife
of the late Irwin Maniloff; mother of
the late Paul Maniloff; daughter of the
late Herman and Selma Litvin; mother-
in-law of the late Arthur Korenstein;
sister of the late Anita Katz.
Interment was held at the Adat
Shalom Memorial Park Cemetery in
Livonia. Contributions may be made
to Hospice of Michigan, Kadima or a

ALEX RHODES, beloved husband,
father, grandfather and great-grandfa-
ther, died peacefully on Nov. 21, 2018, at
age 90.
Alex was born and lived in the Detroit
area his entire life, except the years that
he served in the Navy during World War
II. He worked as an engineer at Ford
Motor Company for almost 30 years and
later as a patent attorney and inventor
until just before his death.
He was a voracious reader and loved
building and inventing things. He could
talk knowledgeably about almost any-
thing. He held more than 20 patents. He
loved his wife, family, friends and his
work, and he will be sorely missed.
Mr. Rhodes is survived by his seven
children, Beth Rhodes (Giacomo
Ruosi), Claudia (Bob) Goldenthal,
Pamela Warnick, Loretta (Bruce)
Richard, Michael (Carla) Rhodes,
Aimee Rhodes (Igor Shevchuk) and
Allison (Bob) Asmann; 15 grandchil-
dren and four great-grandchildren,
