Gale Klar Freidenreich. Ryder is
also welcomed by his excited big
brother Ezra, ecstatic grandparents
Nori and Mark Klar, Deb Krinsky
and Joey Krinsky, and elated
great-grandmothers Muriel Warren
and Shirley Klar. Ryder is also the
great-grandson of the late Richard
Warren, Edward Klar, Maxine
Krinsky, Leonard Miller, and
Barbara and Charles Deschamps.

Tami and Norman
Joseph of North
Hollywood, Calif., are
thrilled to announce
the birth of their
daughter, Rossi Grace
Norman Joseph. Sharing in their
excitement are grandparents Kathy
and Bob Tarnow of Southfield, and
Rosy and Moses Joseph of Mumbai,
India. Rossi is named after her
honorary great-grandfather, Louis
Rossi. In Hebrew she is named
Shoshana (Rose) after her paternal
and maternal great-grandmothers.

Alexander Loren
Beard (Ali Leor), son
of Nicole Beard and
Chris Beard, will be
called to the Torah as a
bar mitzvah on
Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018,
at Congregation Shaarey Zedek in
Southfield. He will be joined in
celebration with his sister Ari and
proud grandparents Carole and
Norman Hyman, Judy and Larry
Beard, Marilyn Aaron and Pam
Tryon.
Alex attends Norup International
School in Oak Park. For his mitz-
vah project, he volunteered with
PeerCorps, working and playing with
children in Detroit.

Alec Gabriel Dorf will
chant from the Torah
on the occasion of his
bar mitzvah on
Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018,
at Temple Israel in
West Bloomfield. He
will be joined in celebration by his
proud parents, Lisa and Stuart Dorf,
and brother Zachary. Alec is the
loving grandchild of Joanne and
Robert Kraft, and Myra and Larry
Dorf.
He is a student at West Hills
Middle School in Bloomfield Hills.
For his most meaningful mitzvah
project, Alec volunteered for the
Miracle League program through
Friendship Circle. He found it
rewarding to help children with
special needs enjoy the thrill of
playing baseball.

Sara Rose Cohon,
daughter of Jennifer
and Robert Cohon,
will lead the
congregation in prayer
as she becomes a bat
mitzvah on Saturday,
Dec. 1, 2018, at Temple Israel in
West Bloomfield. She will be joined
in celebration by her brother Ben,
proud grandparents Linda and Alan
Kristall, and Laura and Ed Cohon,
and great-grandfather Harold
Shwedel.
Sara is a student at Clifford H.
Smart Middle School in Commerce
Township. As part of her mitzvah
project, she volunteered at Temple
Israel for Senior Shabbat. She found
serving lunch and interacting with
the seniors to be very rewarding.

Dylan Fishman will
become a bat mitzvah
on Saturday, Dec. 1,
2018, at Temple Beth
El in Bloomfield
Township. She is the
daughter of Jennifer
Fishman and Michael Fishman, sister
of Brett and the granddaughter of
Jack and Susan Bindes, and Merrill
and Sharon Fishman.
Dylan is an eighth-grader at Derby
Middle School in Birmingham. For
her mitzvah project, she has been
participating in the LINKS program
through her middle school, helping
students with special needs.
