Active with Adat Shalom Synagogue and its sisterhood, Adele was also a past president of Beth Achim Sisterhood, past president of the Jewish Historical Society and a docent leading tours of old Jewish Detroit; she also organized lunch and learn programs through Adat Shalom Synagogue. Mrs. Staller taught English to Russian immigrants and helped them gain their citizenship. She was also a Detroit Public School teacher for 39 years. Honored by the State of Michigan, she was active with Cancer Thrivers.
