94, of West Bloomfield,
died Oct. 22, 2018.
She is survived by her
daughters and son-in-
law, Marilynn Silberman,
and Laurie and Robert
Guenther; grandchildren, Scott (Laura)
Silberman, Stacy Goodman, Megan
(John) Male and Zachary Guenther;
great-grandchildren, Allie, Jack, Ben,
Annie, Eli, Hannah and Jami; brothers
and sister-in-law, Al and Phyllis Glazer,
and Barry Glazer; her dearest niece,
Stephanie Glazer; many other nieces,
nephews, other family members and
friends.
Mrs. Portney was the beloved wife of
the late Raymond Portney; mother-in-
law of the late Ronald Silberman.
Interment took place at Adat Shalom
Memorial Park Cemetery in Livonia.

Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the
National Kidney Foundation or the

Bloomfield Township,
died Oct. 26, 2018.
She was an active
member and supporter
of Hadassah, Jewish
Theological Seminary, ADL, DIA,
JARC, PBS and Bookfair.
Mrs. Schumer was the oldest gradu-
ate of Melton at age 91.
She is survived by her chil-
dren, Sharon and Dr. Larry Schwartz
of Bloomfield Hills, Deborah and
Ken Tuchman of Demarest, N.J.,
and Dr. David and Dr. Mary Ellen
Schumer of Eumchaw, Wash.; grand-
children, Nancie Schwartz and Armin
Michelsen, Adam and Caroline
Schwartz, Beth and Jeff Cassidy, Erica
Tuchman and Elysse Weiss, Jillian
Tuchman, Hallie Tuchman, Rebecca
Tuchman and Jacob Caplain, Nathan
and Hillary Schumer, Molly Schumer
and Josh O’Rouke, Ari Schumer and
Sam Schumer; great-grandchildren,

Mrs. Schumer was the beloved wife
of the late William Schumer; cherished
sister of the late Miriam Nelson.

Scottsdale, Ariz., died Oct. 15, 2018.
She is survived by her sister,
Annette Luria; brother, Irwin Nagel;
loving cousins, Marc Shulman,
Lynne Ludwig, Cindy Hirsch, Garry
Shulman; cherished friends, Mike, Kay
and Mikey Reed.
Mrs. Teller was the beloved wife of
the late Sheldon Teller; the devoted
daughter of the late Betty and Dave
Nagel.

Arizona Humane Society. Services and
interment were held at Green Acres
Cemetery, Scottsdale.
IRVIN WAGENBERG,
93, of Boca Raton, Fla.,
passed away on Oct. 13,
2018.
He was inspirational
to all and leaves many
fond memories.
Mr. Wagenberg is survived by his
sons, Howard, Sandy; their wives,
Sharon and Betsy; his daughter,
Deborah; seven grandchildren; his
brother, Ronald.
He was the loving husband of the
late Rachel Wagenberg.
A memorial for family will be
scheduled in Florida. Contributions
